Literal

Sometimes it's a good idea to look on the sunny side of a bad situation. For example, the global credit crisis may be resulting in lost jobs, inflation and a collapse of property prices, but at least this means that subliterate real estate bimbos are earning less money. And that warms my flinty heart.

You, sir, are a moron. If that's a word.

Yes, Blanders, it most definitely is. I acquiesce in your uniquely appealing choice of word from your vast reservoir of perjoratives, epithets and castigations to denote the agent's lack of wisdom in failing to acquire editorial support.

I must add that I fail to see how such an artifice can be uniquely appealing per se, since such could be said, by someone, of any abode.

Secondly, yesteryear was not always charming. Consider the Black Death, God's response to the mediaeval version of Eurovision. (No doubt society has plunged into such moral decay that such cultural excresences are permitted, in order to excoriate us and incite repentance.)

Thirdly, and no doubt I am instructing your grandmater in the gumming of ova, 'state of the art' and 'modernity', in this sense, are tautologous.

Thanks. I was originally going to go with "nincompoop", but the spirit moved me elsewhere.
