Balls

Late on Sunday evening I noticed that the police had blocked off a street around the corner from my house. It turns out that a person was attacked on that street for unknown reasons by four men... or at least that's what was reported by the ever-reliable ABC.





The article doesn't say whether the assailants threw the baseballs underarm or overarm.


And since the attack took place on a cul-de-sac called Whitby Court, the ABC helpfully included a map centred on the townsite of Whitby, more than fifty kilometres away.
