That would be the Jo who got married about 12 weeks ago, to one of the brothers that got married one day apart. I hope that makes enough sense to let you know who it is without putting names on your blog :-)
I started to expect it might be her, a few hours after the exchange. The fact that the SMS was sent from the east coast (judging from the timestamp) threw me.
Sounds like very lovely, difficult, or indifferent news for Jo, especially after all the good, bad, or meaningless things that have happened to her yesterday, the day before that, or at some other time. And you must be elated, concerned, or apathetic after all the exciting times and fun things that you and Jo have or haven't had with or without one another. Hopefully, you'll be able to settle all your differences, similarities, or indifferences over the coming times.
