Walking back from an office lunch with one of our attractive young secretaries...
Her: Did I tell you about my thighs?
Me: ...
Her: Well?
Me: ...
Her: Oh, wait, that sort of came out wrong, didn't it.
Me: Not at all. Please tell me about your thighs.
It turned out she'd strained them while lifting some heavy files... which is probably the least interesting story that could have come out of her original statement.
Her: Did I tell you about my thighs?

I think a little less time at office lunches and a little more time at the gym is indicated.
And you could have said was "You know, before I worked here I was masseuse...", which might have given you both a much more interesting afternoon at work! :-)
